Dixon Petunia Festival is excited to announce regional pop funk band "BAJA" to play the Dixon CGH Medical Center Main Stage on Friday, July 4th!

"Too Hype Crew" is to headline the same night!

BAJA is a group of musicians based out of Northern and Central Illinois areas. Consisting of two core members Jonathan Rivera and AJ Schmall, childhood friends from Dixon, IL, the band achieves a pop funk sound featuring an electric, live horn section. BAJA's imitable sound is complimented by the energy induced by Rivera and Schmall.

BAJA has shared the bill with members from the band Chicago, Everclear, and several other national acts. The group has performed at the Mississippi Fairgrounds, Petunia Festival, The Bellson Music Festival, a jazz festival celebrating world-renowned big band drummer Louie Bellson, and other notable events. BAJA's performances are always high-energy, danceable, and nothing short of entertaining.
